About Us

Weller is a K-5 school which offers traditional grade instruction. Weller opened in 1983. We are located about six miles northeast of downtown Fairbanks on a hill surrounded by beautiful birch and spruce trees. 

Weller is a family and community-oriented school, and we are very proud of our talented and dedicated staff, our supportive and caring parents, and our hardworking and eager students.

The mission of Weller Elementary, a family and community oriented school, is to develop in students a strong educational foundation and a desire to learn, by promoting challenging, diverse learning opportunities, family partnerships, a safe environment, and a respect for every student's uniqueness.
